45 Degree Cable Kickback

  1. Attach an ankle strap to a cable pulley station. Strap the left leg.

  2. Step over the cable with unstrapped leg and slightly lean forward at the hip.

  3. Keeping the left leg straight, allow it to cross behind the planted foot.

  4. Set the hips square with a wall or machine, then kick the left leg back at a 45 degree angle at a steady and controlled pace.

  5. Pause for 1-2 seconds and return to the starting position.
